Class Schedule

 

NEW CLASSES START March 3rd, 2012

 

All classes are 6 weeks long

 

Puppy Kindergarten; 9:00 - 10:00 am

 

This fun Social Hour is for puppies that meet The Puppy Social Hour Requirements and are 8 to 12 weeks of age at the start of their first class.  We encourage fun activities to help build the puppies confidence with other puppies, people, and their footing (examples: low level agility equipment to walk on/in). 

Basic commands learned; sit, down, come.  Pre-registration required

 

 

Teen/Adult Classes (Those Teenagers!); 10:30 - 11:30 am

 

 

For puppies 12 weeks of age to 8 months of age These classes have been designed to help you obtain the best possible puppy! The early months of life are crucial to your puppy's development, both physically and mentally. These classes focus on teaching puppy owners positive methods of getting the behavior they want. Classes are for dogs over 15 pounds without previous experience

 

Adult Dog Basic Training Class Noon — 1 pm

 

Is a Basic Group Training Class for Adolescent, Adult, and Senior Dogs 8 months and older.

Basic Training Hand Signals and Cues are covered in this Class (Examples: Sit, Down from a Sit and from a Stand, Sit Stay, Down Stay, Recalls, Loose Leash Walking, Attention Walking/Heel, Leave It).

 

Canine Good Citizen Class & Testing (to be held in conjunction with above Adult Basic)

 

Learning all steps to earning your Canine Good Citizen certification.  Test to be given the last day of classes.

 

Training in the Park

 

Held every Sunday morning at different areas to encourage correct social manners. Ask to be placed on our mailing list
